Pughs held their first property auction of the year recently with 9 properties being offered for sale. The auction was held at The Feathers Hotel in the main conference room which was full of interested parties.

The star lot of the evening was the Land at Dymock this was 10.8acres of pasture in a central village location. It had a guide price of 100,000 - 125,000. Bidding started slow however two local parties soon took up the bidding and the land sold for 370,000.

There were two properties at Colletts Green, Powick with a guide price of 200,000. Woodmans Cottage had planning consent to demolish and rebuild and was sold for 206,000 and Lordswood Cottage with planning consent to extend sold for 252,000.

A 20 acres small holding with a Listed two bedroom cottage in need of complete overhaul and with additional barns in poor condition sold for a total of 360,000.

Overall auctioneer James Pugh was very pleased with the results and is looking forward to our May, June and July auctions.
