Pughs conducted their August property auction which consisted of five lots.

Pow Green, Bosbury, was the first lot under the hammer. A traditional smallholding with an extended farmhouse, attached traditional brick and timber barn and useful Dutch barn with lean-to along with approximately 1 acre of gardens and grounds and further 4.69 acres (1.90ha) of pasture land. An ideal equestrian or smallholding in a rural location full of potential. Bidding was fairly strong and the final bid was 340,000. The 3.47 acres of pasture over the road (lot 2) then went way over guide price and sold for 54,000.

Pear Trees, Tarrington, was next to sell and sold for the guide of 350,000.

The last lot sold on the evening was 2 Stonehouse Cottages, Kempley, a three bedroom semi-detached Victorian property built in 1875, in need of total overhaul and modernisation, located in a most tranquil rural location on the Gloucester / Hereford borders. This property is full of potential and extension subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents. It has a large garden and backs onto open fields. Again bidding was strong and sold for over the reserve at 182,000.

In September there are two auction being held. These being on 3rd and 25th September. Lots included are Hill View, Ledbury, Land at Drake Street, Welland and then Holders in Gloucestershire and 1 & 2 Sunnyside, Staunton.
