PROPERTY AUCTION RESULTS |
Pughs are pleased to inform that it is not all doom and gloom with the housing market after another successful property auction, which was held at The Feather Hotel, Ledbury, last week. Three out of four properties sold. The three lots being a smallholding at Gadfield Elm, Land at Queenhill and Hill Croome.
Gadfield Elm is a 7 acre smallholding with useful outbuildings and a two bedroom bungalow in need of modernising. It had a guide price of £380,000 - £420,000. Bidding for this was steady up to the sale price of £415,000.
The land at Queenhill was next to be offered. This is 5.35 acres of permanent pasture with the benefit of an agricultural steel framed building. The guide price was £40,000 - £50,000. Bidding was bright and the land was finally sold for £55,000.
The last lot to be offered was 4.8 acres of flat permanent pasture this had a guide price of £20,000 - £25,000. Bidding was strong for this parcel of land with a number of interested parties. The field was sold for £52,000.
