Full Steam Ahead
Saturday 7th November was the return of HJ Pugh & Co’s well renowned Railwayana, Model Railways, Toys, Sporting memorabilia and Militaria Sale.

It was the first time HJ Pugh & Co had use live on-line bidding, which although it took a few lots to get used to, 20 lots into the sale and Howard was flying through the lots in his usual manner. This means that bidders from all over the world can bid on items in the sale, abit like Ebay, but without the hassle of waiting 5 days to find out if your successful! To say all over the world is no exaggeration as we have been busy all week posting parcels of all shapes and sizes far and wide, including Australia, Holland, Ireland, Shetland and Scotland.

The next sale to feature this will be our Motorcycle and Classic car sale on 21st of November. The sales are conducted on-line via www.the-saleroom.com and www.i-bidder.com depending on the nature of the lots being sold. The forthcoming motorcycle and classic car auction will be live on i-bidder. This should enable us to reach a wider audience, and as such achieve better prices for our clients than if it was just the buyers in our sale room, we also find it adds a little bit of unpredictability to the proceedings and as such more excitement!
