Pughs conducted their April Property Auction at The Feathers Hotel on St George’s Day and are pleased to announce that all the properties sold.
The outstanding result was for The Old Bake House at Parkway. This property is a large character and quirky three bedroom detached house, which is in midst of improvement. It has the added bonus of approximately 1 acre of garden, a commercial yard and planning permission for a double detached garage. The auction guide was £220,000 - £250,000. Bidding was strong and the property sold for an impressive £263,000.
The Beeches at Dymock also sold well with the hammer going down at £200,000. The property consisted of a character four bedroom house in the centre of Dymock village but with a very compact garden and close to the main road.
Overall James Pugh, auctioneer, was pleased of the outcome and feels auctions are a great way of selling properties as the true value is found and the properties tend to get sold.
