LOCAL AGRICULTURAL VALUERS CHAIRMAN TO CONTINUE
At the recent Herefordshire & Worcestershire Agricultural Valuers Association AGM held at The Talbot Inn, Knightwick, Jason Thomson BSc (Hons) MRICS FAAV was elected as chairman for the second year in a row. It is only the third time since 1921 that there will have been the same chair for two consecutive years, the last having been in 1990 / 1991 when the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Associations were amalgamated, pre-dated by a consecutive chair of Herefordshire in 1923 / 1924.

Jason one of the partners of Pughs Estate Agents & Valuers in Ledbury is honoured to continue the role as the Central Association approaches its centenary year.

The immediate committee remains unchanged with Jenny Layton (McCartney’s) continuing as Secretary for her seventh year, Sally Green (Natural England) as Vice Chairman and David Curtis (Duchy Of Cornwall) as Delegate to Central.

The CAAV continues to be the professional body in the countryside providing clients with professional advice and valuation expertise on a wide range of issues from property agency and management to compensation claims and subsidy / grant applications for both the farming and wider rural communities.
